Summary
Responsible for all activities associated with supporting the Machine operator in setup, operation and clean-up of the corrugated machinery.
Duties:
Learning the role as a machine casemaker operative.
Learning to set up, check jobs and ultimately be a second to the lead operator.
Informing Machine operator of faulty machinery and production issues.
Adhering to health and safety regulations when operating machinery
Keeping work areas and the factory floor clean and free from hazardous material.
Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines.
Any other duties as requested by management.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Mechanical knowledge and advantage.
Ability to work in fast paced environment, learn quickly and follow established processes.
Good mathematical skills, must be able to use a calculator and read a measuring tape.
Must be able to read, write and speak in good English.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly organised, detail orientated and self-motivated individual.
Physical demands
To succesfully perform the essential functions of this role it requires the ability to : stand constantly, walk constantly, frequent us of hands and arms, the role require some manual lifting

Monday to Thursday 07.00am - 16.30pm
Friday 07.00am - 15.30pm
