You will be responsible for ensuring that each learner receives high-quality, tailored support and makes meaningful progress towards their outcomes across the Preparing for Adulthood pathways.

Each tutor group has no more than seven learners and is supported by a team of support staff, including 1:1 support where required. You will play a key leadership role, supporting and managing this team by mentoring staff, sharing daily plans, and carrying out supervisions and appraisals. You will also lead on planning and delivering engaging, structured learning, and ensure EHCP reviews and progress reports are completed to a high standard.

This role is ideal for someone who combines a strong educational background with a person-centred approach to support, and who wants to lead by example in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

· Plan, lead and evaluate engaging sessions across the Preparing for Adulthood curriculum: independent living, employment, community and health

· Provide day-to-day mentoring and formal line management to support staff, including supervisions and performance reviews

· Communicate professionally with families, carers and professionals to support learner progress

· Identify unmet needs within the group and work with the Aspirations Manager to find solutions

Person specification:
