Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative Hair Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cutting, colouring, and styling hair while providing excellent customer service. You will help clients achieve their desired look, stay updated on the latest hair trends, and contribute to maintaining a welcoming and professional salon environment.
Key Responsibilities
Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles, treatments, and products.
Cut, color, style, and treat hair using a variety of techniques (e.g., blow-drying, curling, straightening, braiding).
Stay updated with industry trends, new techniques, and hair care products.
Maintain salon cleanliness, sanitation, and proper sterilization of tools and equipment.
Promote and sell salon products and services to clients.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Manage appointment scheduling to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a Hair Stylist, Hairdresser, or similar role.
Valid cosmetology license/certification (where required).
Knowledge of a wide range of hair techniques, products, and treatments.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple clients.
Preferred Qualities
Experience with bridal, event, or special occasion hairstyling.
Knowledge of multicultural hair care and styling techniques.
Sales experience in promoting beauty/haircare products.
