We are now looking to expand our talented team with a highly skilled and experienced Loctician who is passionate about Afro and textured hair and ready to thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment.

What We’re Looking For
We’re hiring an experienced Loctician with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in loc maintenance, styling, and crotchet techniques. The ideal candidate is confident, reliable, passionate about hair and client care, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional loc services including maintenance, styling, crotchet techniques, colouring, and treatments
Offer expert consultations, listening carefully to clients’ needs and recommending styles based on hair texture, condition, and face shape
Uphold high standards of cleanliness and professionalism at all times
Maintain excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty
Recommend and upsell additional services or products to enhance the client experience
Support with general salon duties, including appointment management and payment processing (optional — confirm if required)
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and events
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Loctician (including crotchet styles)
Strong portfolio of work in Afro/textured hair
Friendly, confident, and a great communicator
Comfortable with time management and fast-paced salon environments
A growth mindset and passion for continuous learning and excellence
NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
Bonus points if you have experience mentoring junior stylists or managing small salon teams.
