East Coker is set in an area of natural beauty and our popular rural school has a supportive and friendly community. The governors are looking for a dedicated part time one to one Teaching Assistant to join our team, focusing on providing tailored, one-on-one support for a pupil with specific educational needs. You'll work collaboratively with the SENDCo and class teacher, adapting the curriculum content to ensure it's accessible and effective and meets their sensory needs.
The successful candidate will:
• Have experience working with children
• Be an enthusiastic, resilient, patient and adaptable
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Have great communication and organisational skills
