Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Little London Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Higher-Level Teaching Assistant in the Early years foundation stage (EYFS). This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful applicant will be expected to support the professional work of teachers' by overseeing agreed learning activities within a predetermined supervision structure. These activities could be for individuals, small groups, or, on occasion, whole classes (for example, during PPA cover).

Potential applicants should have:

• Higher Level Teaching Assistant status (or equivalent minimum Level 4 qualification).
• A solid understanding of the national curriculum and/or foundation stage, with experience of implementing relevant learning programmes and strategies.
• Previous experience supporting children within the appropriate age range in an educational setting.
