The Governors of St Thomas are looking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic teacher to join our school. The successful candidate should be willing to teach either in KS1 or KS2.
We have a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher to become part of our warm and vibrant team.
We are seeking to appoint a maternity cover teacher from January 2026
We are looking for an individual who:
- is an excellent classroom practitioner and is motivated to further develop themselves
- is committed to develop learners within a context of Christian values
- has excellent interpersonal skills with adults and pupils
- demonstrates positive and effective management of pupil welfare and conduct
- has energy and enthusiasm
The teacher appointed will have high standards and expectations in all areas of school life and will be committed to a teamwork approach. The candidate must be willing to contribute to the wider life of the school. In addition, as part of the shortlisting process we will carry out an online search as part of our due diligence on the shortlisted candidates.
