Summary
Administrative Assistant Contract Term: Permanent
Salary: GLPC B 2 – 3 (pro rata salary is £20,997 - £21,327) pa based on (£24,413 - £24,796 FTE)
Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only (including INSET days), 8.30am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday
Start Date: Monday 3rd November or as soon as possible
Job Reference: Admin/2025Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Office Administrative Assistant to support the smooth running of our busy school office. The successful applicant should have excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills along with excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel. Experience on school systems such as Arbor, Sims or other MIS would be advantageous. This is an extremely busy and varied role for someone who combines efficiency with a warm and welcoming approach. As first point of contact the successful candidate needs to have the capacity to remain calm and cope with the unexpected as they will be responsible for promoting a professional and friendly contact for parents, carers and visitors to school, ensuring all queries are dealt with effectively.
