Our dedication is demonstrated by the whole council achievement of the Investors in People Standard and always aiming a little higher in our service delivery and improvements.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our learning community within Dedridge Primary School as a clerical assistant in the school office and supporting across the school. Dedridge Primary is a non-denominational school, serving part of the community of Dedridge in West Lothian. The school is situated in an area of multiple deprivations.

The school roll is 133 across 6 mainstream classes and 4 Enhanced Resource Base classes for children with significant additional support needs. The staff consists of the Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher and Principal Teacher. There is an additional Principal Teacher with line management responsibility for PEF interventions. There are 3 pupil support workers who support learners across the mainstream classes and 9 advanced pupil support workers who support the children in the ERB classes.

Staff demonstrate strong collegiality and teamwork and this maintains the positive climate for learning in the school. A strength of the school is strong partnerships working with partners including parents and the wider community, which is having a positive influence of the lives of children and their families. All children are nurtured and valued. Dedridge Primary School continues to ensure a progressive, cohesive programme of work in all curriculum areas to challenge learning and ensure all children are reaching their full potential.
