Summary
Site & Security Assistant (Maternity Cover)
West Midlands | Full-Time, Fixed Term | £25,160-£25,664 + 14% shift allowance
We're looking for a Site & Security Assistant to join our team on a maternity cover contract. You'll play a key role in keeping our campus safe, secure, and welcoming for staff, learners, and visitors, while also supporting with general site and facilities duties.
- Provide a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor security and surveillance systems
- Handle site, janitorial, and logistical tasks
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Help create a safe and supportive environment for all
- Valid SIA licence
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- Calm under pressure with strong communication skills
- Ability to defuse conflict situations professionally
- Commitment to safeguarding and equality
37 hours per week across a rotating shift system (early, late, and daytime hours).
