About the Role
Hanover are excited to be recruiting for a Waking night Home Support Worker in our Chandlers Court Very Sheltered Development in Elgin. This role involves working on a rota basis, working a 4 on 4 off shift patterns.

As part of your role, you will be required to work flexibly and as a lone worker on site. This Permanent Waking night Home Support Worker - Chandlers Court, Elgin role involves working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern 9.45pm- 7.15am. This rota is a rolling rota to support a work life balance. You will be working as part of a team to ensure that services are delivered flexibly, innovatively and in a dignified, safe and stimulating way. Promoting independence and encouraging customers to exercise choice.
Able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
About You
You will:
• Have a genuine passion for helping people.

• Be willing to work towards an SVQ and registration with SSSC as well as comply with regulatory standards and codes of practice.
• Be able to work as part of a team, covering a mix of early and late shifts.
• Be able to use Microsoft or equivalent applications competently.
• Be required to have a full and satisfactory PVG check prior to starting.
Main Responsibilities
• Home Support Workers are responsible for providing personal care and housing support in line with care plans agreed by the customer.
• Assistance with personal mobility support, support with daily personal tasks and general housekeeping.
• Medication administration from level 1-4.
• Providing all aspects of care at home, on site, in accordance with Scottish Government guidelines.
