Summary
Jigsaw Pre-School situated in the heart of Needham Market is a welcoming and inclusive pre-school dedicated to providing the highest quality care and early education for children aged from 18months. We believe in fostering creativity, independence, and a love of learning in a nurturing environment.
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 2 or 3 Early Years Educator to join our team on a part time basis.
This post is currently for 16 hours per week from 3rd November 2025, hours will potentially increase from January 2026.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
Providing high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
Observe, assess, and plan appropriate activities to promote each child’s development.
Working collaboratively with a team of practitioners to maintain high standards of care.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
Supporting children’s emotional, physical, and social development through a range of engaging activities
What Jigsaw is looking for from the successful candidate...
Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
A passion for early childhood education and development.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential)

Your qualification MUST be full and relevant to work within early years, please be aware that this does not include any health and social care courses.
