What You’ll Be DoingAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing in-class support to help students engage with lessons and stay on task

Assisting with small group activities to reinforce learning and build confidence

Supporting students who may be falling behind or need extra help to grasp key concepts

Working closely with teaching staff to adapt resources and differentiate tasks when needed

Promoting positive behaviour, focus, and a love of learning

Helping to maintain an organised and inclusive classroom environment

A recent graduate (2:1 or above) in a relevant subject such as English, Maths, Science, Psychology, or Education

Passionate about supporting young people and making a difference in their school experience

Considering a future career in teaching, education, or youth work

Patient, reliable, and confident working with secondary-aged students

A clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude

Experienced working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering)
