Summary
Part time Animal Care Assistant Role, Swansea and Cardiff. Competitive rates.
Enthusiastic, well presented and self-motivated individual to join our friendly team, working in our Cardiff and Swansea clinic as required.
The successful applicant will be honest, reliable, literate, numerate and have good IT skills along with good animal handling skills. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
You will be the first point of contact both face-to-face and over the telephone with our clients, so an excellent telephone manner and customer service skills are essential.
Duties will include making client appointments, taking payments, cleaning and general housekeeping. The role will also include assisting veterinary surgeons/animal physiotherapists in clinical practice. You will also be involved with patients during consultations with their owners and looking after in-patients. You will be involved in a range of administration duties when required. You must be flexible and have access to your own transport as this position involves working in either of our clinics as required.
Key skills required,
Experience in animal handling
Experience in Veterinary or similar setting
Customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the telephone
IT skills
