About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join the Finance Department. You will manage the procurement activities of the university, ensuring the complaint procurement and purchase of goods and services in a cost-effective, timely, and efficient manner. This role involves developing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to support the university’s operational needs.

About You
As Procurement Officer, you will have:

A minimum of 2 years experience in procurement, preferably in an educational or public sector environment
A proven track record of successful contract negotiation and supplier management
Experience of completing procurement procedures under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (RCR15) and the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23).
Experience of managing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
