Job Description

Work pattern: Mon - Thu 8.30am - 4.30pm / Fri 8.30am - 3.30pm (includes 45min unpaid break) A vacancy has arisen for a full time Admin Support Assistant. This is a remote post, but would require attendance at a base office location (Church St, Dumbarton) when required. Duties involve providing a high quality of admin support, including but not limited to sickness and annual leave recording, procurement processes, Internal/External recharging, and minute taking. These duties will predominantly be carried out on behalf of the Facilities Management Section who manage catering and cleaning staff both within schools and public offices. The successful candidate will be required to have an administration related qualification such as an SVQ Business Administration or equivalent, have good computer skills, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and be willing to undertake any training relevant to the post. The preferred candidate will be required to complete a Basic Disclosure check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
