About You:
Caister Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Cover Manager who is highly organised, calm under pressure, and committed to delivering consistent, high-quality education. You’ll be confident leading a team, proactive in managing daily cover needs, and passionate about ensuring every student thrives - regardless of who’s in the classroom. With a “can do” attitude and strong communication skills, you’ll play a key role in maintaining excellence across the academy.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
• Qualifications: GCSEs grade A–C (or equivalent), including Maths and English.
• Behaviour Management: Proven knowledge and skill in implementing an effective range of behaviour management strategies.
• Resilience: Ability to remain constructive and composed under pressure - essential for this role.
• Relationship Building: Strong ability to establish positive working relationships with both staff and students.

Led by the Cover Manager, the team ensures that every lesson is delivered effectively, even in the absence of the regular teacher.
