Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team at Meon Infant School, part of the Meon Way Federation. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality teaching and learning support under the guidance of classroom teachers, helping to make learning engaging, accessible and inclusive for all pupils.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored support to pupils under the direction of the Classroom Teacher
• Coach and support pupils' learning by supervising and assisting them in1:1 sessions and small groups
• Help pupils engage across a variety of learning activities and interventions
• Supervise pupils during lunchtime,ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment both in the dining hall and playground
• Work collaboratively with staff to ensure pupils have access to the resources they need to succeed

About You:

• A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
• Educated to a minimum Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
• Highly motivated, energetic and reflective with a passion for helping pupils and building positive relationships with both students and parents/carers
