Summary
HASCS is looking for a Regional Nurse Manager with a strong background in Learning Disability and Autism (LDA) to oversee a caseload of complex care clients across Dorset and Cornwall. This is a unique opportunity to join a values-driven organisation that prioritises quality, compassion, and person-centred care.
Why HASCS?
Our approach is different. You’ll manage a small, focused caseload (maximum 10 caseloads) allowing you to build deep relationships with service users and truly understand their needs. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values clinical excellence, autonomy, and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage maximum 10 complex care packages between Dorset & Cornwall.
• Conduct & review comprehensive care planning and risk assessments, escalating concerns appropriately.
• Partake in mobilisation, delivery, and quality assurance of complex care packages.
• Manage your diary flexibly to meet the needs of your caseload – this is not a 9–5 role, there will be occasions where you will be in the field out of hours to sign off or supervise staff.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure staffing, training, and compliance.
• Support recruitment and development of a skilled complex care workforce.
• Handle challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism.
• Partake in out of hours on-call (on rotation)
What You’ll Bring:
• Registered Nurse and minimum 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Manager
• At least 1 year of experience working with Learning Disability and Autism clients.
• Background in Complex Care Nursing, ideally in community settings.
• Strong conflict resolution, time management, and decision-making skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
Benefits:
• Private medical and dental insurance
• Enhanced maternity/paternity leave
• Company pension & events
• Bereavement and sick leave
• Referral programme
Location: Ideally based in Dorset or Cornwall – regular travel required.
