Restore Harrow Green is a leading relocation and logistics company, with its flagship branch in Silvertown, Restore delivers large-scale, complex relocation and facilities services across London and the surrounding areas, operating with a fleet of 30 vehicles and a team of around 150 operatives
Role Importance and Impact:
The Operations Manager plays a vital role in leading the Silvertown branch, ensuring smooth daily operations while driving strategic improvements. This role directly impacts profitability, service excellence and colleague engagement, using data-led decision-making to maintain RHG’s high standards and sector-leading customer experience
What You Will Be Doing:
Manage daily operations for Silvertown, including 150+ operatives and fleet management
Oversee labour planning and supplier engagement to optimise resources and costs
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and industry regulations
Own the branch P&L, focusing on profitability and margin growth
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency through data insights
Lead customer service initiatives, resolving issues promptly and maintaining “white glove” standards
Collaborate with Sales and Client Engagement teams to align service delivery with customer needs
Lead recruitment, training, retention and development to build a motivated workforce
About You:
Proven leadership experience managing large, complex operations (200+ staff)
Strong P&L and budget management skills with a track record of driving profitability
Expertise in workforce planning and supplier management
Excellent stakeholder management, from shop floor to board level
In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance standards
Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
Commercially aware and highly data-literate, turning insight into action
Customer-focused mindset, committed to delivering exceptional service
