Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Trade Team Supervisor (DEMs Supervisor), who will oversee a team of directly employed trade operatives undertaking reactive property repairs and cyclical decoration/planned maintenance works within our housing portfolio. This role is critical in helping us meet our mission of providing quality, affordable housing to our tenants.

£32,972 annually

35 hours a week Monday-Friday – permanent contract

Based in Walter Road, Swansea

Driving licence necessary and DBS

Closing date: Friday 26th September at 12pm noon

Interview date: Wednesday 15th October 2025

About the role

The Maintenance Trade Team Supervisor (DEMs Supervisor) will ensure that our internal directly employed maintenance staff are effectively managed to deliver our services, while adhering to quality standards and compliance/health & safety regulations.

Perform inspections and assessments of properties ensuring quality assurance.

Maintain accurate records for reporting and documentation.

Budget management: ensuring all works are delivered within budgetary constraints and the purchasing of plant, tools and materials/components to demonstrate cost efficiency including the processing and review of invoices.

Vehicle Fleet management.

About you

You are person centred and have a partnership approach, while making a personal commitment to finding solutions.

You will put our tenants at the centre of your work and have a commitment to active tenant involvement in helping to identify development of homes that tenants will want to live in.

Experience of supervising a multi-disciplinary team of trade operatives.

A building trade qualification or experience as a tradesperson.
