Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to join our dynamic team on Ward 25, our dedicated Children’s Ward.
Ward 25 consists of 34 beds, including two Level 2 High Dependency beds, and provides care for a wide range of medical and surgical children aged 0–18 years. Adjacent to the ward is a Children’s Assessment Unit with 6 beds and 4 waiting spaces, operating Monday to Friday, accepting referrals from GPs, the Emergency Department and supporting day case activity.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of paediatric conditions and care pathways. We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and driven individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to children and young people.
