Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the global future of a world-class, research-intensive university?

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking professional to join our Global Partnerships and Networks team within the External Relations Directorate. Reporting to the Director of Global Partnerships and Networks, you will provide strategic support to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor External Engagement and the Assistant Vice-Principal International, driving forward the University’s international ambitions.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the University’s long-term internationalisation strategy – from strengthening relationships with global partners to maximising the impact of our international networks. You will help ensure that the University delivers on the ambitious objectives set out in its Institutional Strategy, Operational Plan, and international KPIs, cementing our position as one of the world’s finest research-intensive institutions.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and managing key strategic international initiatives.
• Identifying global trends in higher education and analysing opportunities and risks in international policy and activities.
• Overseeing the distribution of internal funding to support international partnership development.
• Providing leadership and coordination of all international network activity.
• Informing and shaping the work of the International Strategy Delivery Board.
• Offering high-level strategic advice to senior leaders, including the Deans for Global Engagement and College International Deans.

About you:
We are looking for an experienced professional with exceptional strategic insight, strong leadership skills, and the ability to operate effectively at the most senior levels of the University. You will combine a deep understanding of international higher education with the analytical skills to identify opportunities and risks, and the vision to drive forward initiatives that extend our global reach and impact.

If you are passionate about international engagement and want to play a critical role in shaping the future of a globally connected university, we would love to hear from you.
