HM Coastguard (HMCG) is the operational arm of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) with responsibility for 6 key missions - Search and Rescue, Pollution Response, Vessel Traffic Management, Maritime Safety, Maritime Security and Emergency and Disaster management.
The roles purpose is to provide operational support functions as part of a dedicated team to HM Coastguard Operations and additional general site duties as required to support and assist HQ, Divisional, Area and on-call duty officers within Coastguard operations both locally and nationally.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Support of HM Coastguard management activities that include:
- National secretariat support of HQ management meetings - minute taking and Action/Decision log ownership.
- Assisting with the production of monthly and ad-hoc management information reports - POWERBI / ISAR / Monthly Management Information Reports/Presentations.
- JRCC supporting functions.
- Support for HM Coastguard work packages/projects as required.
- Point of contact and administrator for property management issues within Divisions, including Coastguard Operations Centres and Areas.
- Act as Fire Warden as required.
