This Outstanding SEMH secondary school in Bexley is seeking a Graduate Mentor to work with pupils who’ve been excluded from mainstream education due to social, emotional, or mental health needs. These are bright, capable students who’ve fallen through the cracks — and your role is to help rebuild their trust in education, and in themselves.

You'll receive world-class training, mentoring from experienced practitioners, and daily opportunities to support students in finding focus, structure, and confidence again.

• Graduate Mentor role – supporting KS3–KS4 pupils with SEMH needs

• Earn £100–£110 per day – perfect pre-PGCE or Ed Psych placement

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Building daily structure and routine with high-need pupils
• Supporting engagement in lessons and developing life skills
• Running interventions around self-esteem, social thinking, and behaviour
• Being a trusted adult for pupils navigating trauma and exclusion
• Collaborating with in-house clinical team and external agencies

Ideal Graduate Mentor For this Bexley School:
• Graduate in Psychology, Criminology, Education, Social Sciences or similar
• Passionate about mental health, social equity, and youth inclusion
• Confident, calm, and ready to commit to the long-term development of pupils
• Prior youth work, tutoring, or safeguarding experience is ideal
• Available full-time and keen to gain specialist SEMH experience
