This is an exciting opportunity to join the teaching team within the Netzero Skills Centre at Suffolk New College. Our growing provision for Green Skills includes a demand from local employers to work together to train the next generation of technicians and engineers that can survey, plan, cost, fit, commission, maintain and service systems that control climates in residential and commercial premises. If you are keen to share your industry knowledge and expertise, this is the opportunity for you!

Suffolk New College appreciates that the best teachers are those who have experience working in the real world, on-site, and in industry. We actively encourage those from a non-teaching background who may want to “give something back”, even on a part-time basis, to share their valuable insights into industry. The College has an excellent support scheme to help those who may not have a teaching background to develop those skills. Please get in touch if you would like to explore the options for getting into teaching.

This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich. However, Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site; therefore, you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.

At Suffolk New College, we promote the culture of BeSNC. Implementing BeSNC is not just a choice; it's a commitment to providing the best possible environment for our learners to thrive. It's a commitment to nurturing an inclusive and supportive community where each student, staff and community member can reach their full potential.
