We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics. Are you a skilled mathematics teacher with a genuine love for numbers and a passion for fostering problem-solving and analytical skills? Do you have the ability to bring mathematical concepts to life, igniting curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning in young minds? Do you have the drive, moral purpose and commitment to support all pupils to make good progress in maths? If so, we want to hear from you!
The successful candidate will:
• Plan and deliver engaging and responsive lessons in Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire pupils to develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and their real-world applications.
• Foster critical thinking, analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills within the subject.
• Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department.
• Maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
• Has a strong degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Possesses excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
• Demonstrates effective classroom management strategies.
• Is committed to the academic and personal development of all pupils.
• Is a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Wants to make a difference to the lives of young people.
