Summary

Job Title: After School Club Assistant Based at: Greenstone Primary School, part of the Lionheart Educational Trust Responsible to: After School Club Manager / Head of School Salary: Grade 4: £24,804 – £8,402.29 Actual Hours: Monday to Friday 1500 - 180015 Hours per week Term time only (38 weeks per year) This is an exciting opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Greenstone Primary School, supporting the development and delivery of our After-School Club provision. The successful candidate will help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children aged 4–11, offering a variety of play, learning, and leisure activities. You’ll work closely with the After School Club Manager and Head of School to ensure the club runs smoothly and meets the emotional, social, physical, and intellectual needs of all children. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the daily running of the club, maintaining high standards of care and safety Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s development Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene regulations Support inspections (e.g. OFSTED) and implement any recommendations Communicate effectively with children, parents/carers, and staff Identify and report any safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead Help with ordering and purchasing resources in line with club systems
