Summary

My client is looking for a Data Manager to work at a School around the Northolt area. This is a Full-time Permanent Position to start ASAP, and it will be working Term-time only + 1 week (39 weeks per year).

Salary: NJC Scale SO2, Pts. 26-28 £34,656 - £36,275 actual salary (£40,182 - £42,060 FTE)

You will be expected to work the following hours:
8am- 4pm (Monday-Thursday)
8am-3.45pm (Friday)

Purpose of the Role:

Manage and develop the school’s Management Information System (Bromcom) and related data solutions, ensuring accuracy, security, and effective use of academic data. Provide analysis, reporting, and staff training to support school performance and communication with parents.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and security of data in Bromcom and linked systems (e.g. SISRA, ALPS).
• Manage system access, user accounts, and permissions.
• Produce clear, accurate data reports and analysis for leadership, governors, and staff.
• Monitor performance data and identify students requiring intervention.
• Manage statutory reporting, including DfE school census.
• Lead on assessment, target setting, results analysis, and parental reporting.
• Oversee curriculum and timetable data: options process, course setup, study programmes, and annual transitions.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to staff on MIS/data systems.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, GDPR, and data protection policies.
• Support whole-school initiatives through surveys, quality assurance data, and parent communication tools.

Essential Skills & Experience
• GCSE English & Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
• Experience with MIS systems (Bromcom or similar).
• Advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of school performance data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organisational and time management skills; ability to work independently and under pressure.
• High level of confidentiality and integrity.
Desirable
• Experience in a school environment.
• Knowledge of SISRA, ALPS, Google Apps for Education.
