Job Summary
Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for Recycling Operators to join a Client in the Rhondda area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the recycling process, ensuring that materials are sorted and processed efficiently. This position requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail, as well as a commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Duties
Sort and separate recyclable materials from waste, ensuring proper categorisation of plastics.
Perform heavy lifting of bags and containers filled with recyclable materials, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the recycling area to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in the loading and unloading of recyclable materials from lorries.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily recycling targets and improve operational efficiency.
Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift is required.
A strong work ethic and commitment to environmental sustainability are essential for success in this role.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm/2pm to 10pm.
