Role Information:

Location: Stroud Campus
FTE Salary: Up to £29,370.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hourly Rate: Up to £30.29 (inclusive of holiday and preparation allowance)
Contract Type: 0 hour contract, fixed term until 31st August 2026
Working Hours: Part time, 8 hours per week

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
-To undertake all forms of pedagogic work which may include classroom teaching, lecturer work and associated outreach duties, open and distance learning courses and student placements.
-To ensure the associated organisational and required administrative work, preparation and marking is undertaken.
-To provide the appropriate student welfare and academic/non-academic counselling responsibilities and ensure safeguarding procedure is adhered to.
-To conduct curriculum development work including identification of consumer requirements, planning, development and evaluation of courses and course materials.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
-Recent and relevant industry experience
-Have experience of working in a pressured environment to tight timescales and deadlines
-Outstanding organisational skills
-Excellent communication, literacy and teaching presentation skills
-IT Literate (especially proficient in the use of Excel and Word)
-Communication skills
-Organisation skills – administration/time management
