Summary
Maintenance Assistant
Estates Department
Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week, 1 FTE)
Salary: £25,273 per annum
We are: currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to work within our busy Estates Department.
You will: be required to assist the Facilities Manager with all aspects of first line building maintenance including: plumbing, joinery, electrical and lighting repairs. Working across our two buildings, you will monitor the online faults log daily, assessing and prioritising incoming tasks while carrying out daily duties around the Conservatoire.
You must have: Previous practical experience in a maintenance or facilities setting. You will possess the knowledge and understanding of buildings and who they work, be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic encompassing good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Due to the nature of the Conservatoire opening times some Weekend, evening and nightshift work may be required.
