We are seeking an outstanding part time Teacher of Geography to join our teaching community at Clayesmore School. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and inspiring teacher to join our fantastic Geography Department.

Our Geography Department at Clayesmore is run by 4 highly specialised and experienced staff led by our Head of Department. Geography is a popular subject at both GCSE and A Level, pupils experience a range of learning activities including external fieldwork. Results at GCSE and A Level are excellent and pupils regularly progress to study Geography at university.

We are looking for a Teacher of Geography who can teach pupils and KS3, 4 and 5. The ability to teach Geography at GCSE and A Level will be looked upon favourably. Linking closely with the other departments at the school you will play a key role in the development of our pupils, ensuring a happy and successful education journey.

We are looking for a teacher who is:
● An excellent classroom practitioner with experience across a wide age and ability range.
● An effective communicator, with strong administrative and organisational skills.
● Enthusiastic about working in a busy boarding school environment.
● Committed to holistic education, with interests and skills to contribute beyond the classroom.
● Forward-looking, optimistic, and an inspiring role model for colleagues and pupils alike.

A recognised teaching qualification and prior geography teaching experience is desirable, we welcome applications from those with equivalent experience and a genuine commitment to professional growth. Prior independent school teaching experience is not essential.
