Summary
Are you a Civils Project Engineer seeking an opportunity to make a real difference on the UK’s largest light rail network?

Your Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Civils Project Engineer to join the Metrolink Engineering Team. We have a range of engineering projects over the coming few years that need a dedicated project engineer to support the Bury Interchange Upgrade, Tram-Train Business Case Development and various other track & civils renewals. The role will also have ad-hoc involvement in other new proposed schemes to expand and enhance the Metrolink network.
You will be involved with writing specifications, reviewing tenders, overseeing designs, and providing on-site assurance. You will also support and lead the management of technical interfaces, particularly with our discipline engineers, tram operators and contractors.

You will have an engineering degree or equivalent with civil engineering project experience within a rail and/or light-rail environment. You will have attention to detail to oversee design assurance activities and have strong written and verbal communication skills to manage project stakeholders and have a proactive approach to thinking outside the box to solve issues and improve project processes. Ideally you will also have experience of visiting/working on site.

A permanent role with a salary of £47,539 - £52,866 per annum depending on skills and experience.
