Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated SEN 1:1 Support Assistant to join a dedicated Primary SEN school. This is a rewarding role where you will provide individualised support to a child with additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and socially. Starting ASAP.
Duties as SEN 121 Support Assistant:
Work on a 1:1 basis with a child to support their learning and development.
Assist the class teacher in adapting activities to meet the pupil’s individual needs.
Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
Build strong relationships with the child, staff and parents to support progress.
Ideal SEN 121 Support Assistant:
No previous experience needed – full training will be provided.
A caring, patient and resilient approach.
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Good communication and teamwork skills as SEN 121 Support Assistant.
Willingness to learn and take on guidance from experienced staff.
