As Senior Specifications Technologist, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and completing customer, retailer, and own-brand product specifications to the highest standards of compliance and accuracy. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you’ll oversee specification processes across multiple retail platforms to ensure that all product information, pack copy, artwork approvals and technical compliance are completed.
This role involves close collaboration with NPD, Technical, Suppliers, Artwork/Print partners and major UK retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Morrisons, Lidl, ASDA and Co-Op. You’ll support launches from concept through to post-launch review and mentor junior team members whilst contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the Technical function.
To be considered for this role you’ll need,
Previous experience working in a similar role within the FMCG / food manufacturing sector.
Knowledge of at least three retailer systems (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl, Premier/Hamilton Grant).
Up-to-date knowledge of retailer Codes of Practice
