Summary
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Early Years setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children in their early development and education. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as Nursery Teaching Assistant:
Support the class teacher and Early Years practitioners in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.
Assist in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for all children.
Encourage children’s social, emotional and educational development through play and structured learning.
Help with daily routines, including snack time, personal care, and tidy-up activities.
Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:
Experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool or early years setting (desirable but not essential).
A warm, patient and supportive approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
A willingness to learn and undertake further training if required.
Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2/3) is advantageous but not essential.
