A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a keen and enthusiastic Junior IT Application Engineer to join our growing team.

This newly created role is designed to support our existing Application Engineers in delivering an efficient and responsive service to our end users, providing assistance and resolving queries related to our application systems.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting the team to ensure all solutions are up to date and fully supported
Managing software configuration changes to existing systems as directed by the Business, working to understand wider implications.
Managing 1st and 2nd line systems support issues within designated timeframes as directed by the IT Helpdesk
Assist with the implementation new software & assisting with links to existing systems architecture
Produce Technical Documentation for 100% of New and Existing Applications used within the Business, including end-user guides
Assist with all areas of technology including design, specification, configuration, testing, training customer, data transfer, close-out, monitor & support.
Technically supporting the wider IT team on relevant projects
Assisting with system and contract set-up including the cleansing and upload of customer data, schedule of rates, operatives etc.
Back-office support, investigate unexpected issues, supporting the users as required
Act as a go-between the customer and the 3rd Party development and support teams where required
