Graduate English Teaching Assistant: Your Role

As a Graduate English Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support English teachers in delivering engaging lessons across KS3, KS4, helping students develop a love for reading and writing
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to boost progress in English Literature and Language
• Assist with lesson preparation, marking, and classroom organisation
• Help students improve their essay writing, grammar, and analytical skills
• Track student progress and offer tailored support to ensure academic success

Graduate English Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification

KPi Education are seeking a passionate and motivated Graduate English Teaching Assistant with the following:

• A 2:1 or higher degree in English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing, or a related subject (Russell Group or Top-30 University desirable) (Essential)
• Excellent A-Level and GCSE results in English (Essential)
• A genuine passion for education and English (Essential)
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners (Essential)
• A proactive, resilient attitude and a willingness to learn (Essential)
• Experience working with students, tutoring, mentoring, peer support or TA (Desirable)
