£29,010 - £29,594 pro rata / £15.90 - £16.22 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide all aspects of clerical and administrative support within Hope Primary School.

We would consider applications for those willing to work on a job share/part time basis.

Previous experience in general administrative and reception duties, dealing with the public, Microsoft Office packages, and management database systems is essential.

Applicants should be highly motivated and have a flexible and positive approach to all aspects of work, along with good communication and organisational skills. You'll be required to work on your own initiative and as part of a team liaising with the public, the pupils, the staff and parents. You should be able to uphold the highest levels of confidentiality. Attention to detail is also important within this role.

SCQF level 5 qualification (i.e., SVQ 2, National 5 or equivalent) in a relevant subject or where the essential qualification is not held a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in an administrative role is required.
