We are looking for dynamic, motivated, and dedicated Children's Nurses who will be working with an amazing multidisciplinary team, including youth workers, mental health teams, safeguarding nurses and Paediatric Emergency physicians. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team assisting in providing high quality paediatric care and excellent patient experience.
The post holder will be responsible for providing safe and effective care to all children (aged 0 – 18) requiring admission on the Children’s Unit/Paediatric Assessment Unit or Emergency Department with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
You are also responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of evidence based individualised patient care within the boundaries of their role. The post holder will contribute to the continuing development of standards of care including developments of nursing standards and monitoring of outcomes, assessment and implementation of care.
We will support you in developing your clinical skills and competencies with our experienced team of paediatric nurses and clinical practice facilitators, with a variety of inhouse courses such as plastering, cannulation and opportunity for EPALS. We believe in supporting our staff to grow and develop to fulfil their potential.
