Summary
Lead Youth and Community Worker
37 hours per week (including weekday evenings, and occasional weekends)
SCP 22 - 25 £29,230 - £32,044, £15.19 – £16.66 per hour (depending upon experience)
Based at The Hut - Preston Road
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to lead the youth team at Child Dynamix. Based at our youth facility site on Preston Road Hull. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about working with children and young people.
Requirements and responsibilities for this post:
• To work in partnership with a range of community, voluntary, statutory and private organisations
• To work with and lead a team in the delivery of quality youth and community provision
• To provide line-management to staff, volunteers and students on placement
• Plan, prepare and deliver a range of sessions and activities to engage and support young people aged between 10 and 19 years old.
• To support and encourage the voice and influence of young people in local and city wide projects
• Ensuring that all data is collated appropriately and timely, allowing for monitoring to take place.
• Contribute to the upkeep and management of the youth facility
• To be a team player, flexible, approachable and able to work under pressure.
