Reporting to the Waste Management Supervisor, you’ll reduce fly-tipping and excess household waste in the communal areas of our high-rise and low-rise dwellings.

What you’ll be doing:
• Attending properties and removing fly-tipping from communal areas.
• Supporting Neighbourhood Officers with investigations regarding fly tipping.
• Containing and removing non-general household waste in line with procedures.
• Following health and safety procedures, including risk assessment, manual handling, and asbestos awareness.
• Ensuring a safe working area, including wearing PPE, using necessary cones and signs, and ensuring there are no obstructions before commencing work.
• Maintaining effective communications with tenants, the general public, and other stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a social housing environment would be ideal.
• A full driving licence to use company vehicles.
• Good geographical knowledge of Salford and the surrounding areas would be beneficial.
