Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified SENCO Administrative Assistant for an immediate start to provide support within the SEN department. You will be assisting in the support and integration of students with special educational needs and disabilities as well as assisting the SENCO in administrative tasks and maintaining strategy systems within the SEN department.

Candidates should possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in Word/Excel and Outlook, at pace and under pressure. Candidates must also possess good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE English and Maths or equivalent). A willingness to learn other ICT packages and/or experience with BROMCOM is desirable.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. The role will require knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, SEND and equal opportunities. Experience working in a school and/or in SEND work is desirable.
