Summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant practitioner to join our team, providing key ALN support within the classroom on a 1:1 or group basis and working closely with other teaching staff to ensure provision is effective and that learning needs are met.Job overviewAs a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll provide personalised ALN provision on a 1:1 or group basis, supporting the pupil in accessing the curriculum at an appropriate level and adapting the learning to make it accessible for students with specific needs. This role also involves providing pastoral support, and you’ll monitor progress to feed back to the class teacher whilst working closely with relevant staff to ensure an individual can achieve to the fullest extent.The role is term time only - part time working will be considered.
