Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Personnel Security Vetting Analyst. The successful applicant will join the Personnel security Vetting Operations team which is responsible for processing personnel security background checks on staff working for the organisation.

The Personnel Security Vetting function manages end-to-end personnel security measures to mitigate the rising risk of insider threat to the organisation and its clients. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment which involves engagement with applicants and key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting security vetting and clearance processes for employees and contractors
  • Managing ongoing security clearance reviews for existing employees and contractors
  • Analysing security clearance investigation reports and making recommendations to management
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date security clearance records and documentation
  • Collaborating with internal teams and government agencies to ensure compliance with security clearance policies and procedures.
  • Staying up to date with relevant laws and regulations related to security vetting and clearance processes.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will require to undertake UK Government National Security Vetting at SC level. Additionally, police vetting at a minimum of NPPV2/CTC level is desirable for the role.
  • Experience in conducting detailed administration processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to deliver a consistent & high-quality customer focused service to relevant stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest of relevant laws and regulations related to security clearance processes (full training will be provided)
