Roles & Responsibilities

As a History Teacher with TeacherActive, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons to classes in accordance with the curriculum.

  
  

• Plan and prepare lessons, activities, and assessments that meet pupils’ learning needs.

  
  

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.

  
  

• Provide clear feedback to pupils to support their progress and development.

  
  

• Adapt teaching methods and resources to support all learners, including those with additional needs.

  
  

• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community and curriculum planning.

  
  

  The successful History Teacher will have:

  • QTS with History specialism (ECTs welcome to apply)

    
    

  • Experience teaching History up to Key Stage 4 / GCSE

    
    

  • Excellent classroom management skills

    
    

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
