An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy Human Resources team within Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP). The successful candidate will be based in one of our three HR teams: Employee Relations, Operations, or Supporting Attendance.
About our teams
• Employee Relations: Plays a key role in maintaining a positive, fair and legally compliant workplace and are involved in managing disciplinary and grievance cases, investigations, and hearings.
• Operations: Provides guidance to employees and managers on employee records, workforce planning, recruitment and advertising, service reform, and job evaluation.
• Supporting Attendance: Helps employees maintain high levels of attendance, minimising the impact of sickness absence on service delivery and team wellbeing.
As part of the HR administrative team, you will deliver frontline administrative support and guidance across Social Work Services. Responsibilities include managing daily workloads and the shared inbox, handling calls, taking minutes, scanning and organising confidential documents, and using systems such as Microsoft Office and SAP.
This opportunity allows you to be part of the ongoing development of the Human Resource function as a strategic part of the business and will provide you with valuable skills and experience to develop an exciting career pathway within Human Resources.
To succeed in this role you will need to be self-motivated and customer focused, possessing strong interpersonal and organisational skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels. Experience working in a HR environment is desirable.
