Qualifications Required: Numeracy/literacy skills (at a level equivalent to NQF Level 2)
Start Date: 1st October 2025
Salary: Grade 3 - £25,185 -£25,989 FTE. Salary to be pro-rata'd for part-time, term-time only working We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic practitioner to join our committed team. The role will focus on working as part of the SEND team to lead group and individual sessions that support the education of a small group of pupils that have learning and communication difficulties. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, always keen to learn and develop and can show a positive commitment to the children in our school.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who:
  • Has experience of working with children with learning and communication difficulties
  • Has experience of engaging with and implementing Educational Health and Care Plans
  • Has the skills set to implement a total communication approach with children
  • Is suitably well qualified and has experience of working with children/young adults with Autism Spectrum Condition and have an understanding of how speech and language develops
  • Is a strong communicator with adults and children
  • Has a commitment to working with families as partnerships
  • Is creative, reliable and hardworking
  • Has the skills to work independently and collaboratively
  • Is proactive and solution focused
  • Has a patient and nurturing approach to supporting children
