Summary
Learning Support Assistant
12.5 hours per week (1.15pm-3.15pm Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday and 10.45am-3.15pm Wednesday)Grade 5Fixed–term contract until August 2026Start Date: As soon as possible
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support a child with an EHCP ensuring that they have the opportunity to succeed and thrive in the education setting.Qualifications and Experience:Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting children’s learning.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Passionate about supporting students with moderate learning needs
